According to her, the outcome of the 2024 election and the eventual winner will determine whether allowance payments to trainee nurses will continue or be completely cancelled.
While engaging with students at the University of Ghana on Friday, November 29, 2024, further described the upcoming elections as crucial, as they will determine the future direction of the country and the well-being of its citizens. "The allawa is coming and the decision you make on Saturday [December 7] will determine whether your allawa will continue or will cancelled, and we want the allawa to continue.
This election is consequential and I want you to think about a few things as you go to vote." Speaking on the importance of choosing the right candidate, Samira urged Ghanaians to focus on the candidates and the policies they are presenting.
