President Akufo-Addo has hailed the completion of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange as a milestone in his administration's efforts to modernise Ghana's infrastructure and stimulate economic growth.

He described the project as a significant achievement that aligns with his government's transformative development agenda.

Addressing a gathering at the inauguration ceremony on Friday, November 29, 2024, the President highlighted the interchange's importance in reducing Accra's chronic traffic congestion.

He noted that the project would enhance urban mobility, facilitate commerce, and improve the overall quality of life for residents and commuters.  President Akufo-Addo emphasised the interchange's strategic role in fostering efficient transportation within Accra, one of Ghana's busiest urban centres. "This project demonstrates our unwavering resolve to tackle traffic congestion and enhance mobility in Accra.
