Four (4) persons have been confirmed dead, while six (6) others are battling varying degrees of injuries after a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus was involved in an accident on the Konongo-Kumasi Highway.
The incident, according to MyNewsGh.com's Ashanti Regional Correspondent, occurred at about 11:30 am on Thursday, November 29, 2024.
It is gathered that the vehicle, with registration number GE 6461-22, traveling from Accra towards Kumasi with passengers on board, burst a tyre while in motion upon reaching a section of the road at Lady Diana along the Juaso-Konongo highway.
In the process, the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to roll over into a ditch on the offside edge of the road.
