The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says it will engage key stakeholders in developing a comprehensive roadmap to rebuild the Black Stars after a meeting with head coach Otto Addo on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

While the GFA's Friday statement did not explicitly confirm Addo's future as head coach, 3Sports understands the Association is committed to retaining him despite Ghana's disastrous 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign.

Ghana failed to win any of their six games, scoring just three goals and losing three matches, marking the nation's first AFCON absence since 2004.

The meeting, which included GFA President Kurt Okraku, other Executive Council members and Regional Football Association Chairmen, saw Addo present a comprehensive 56-page technical report dissecting the team's shortcomings.
