The Effie-Kuma Astroturf in Takoradi, Western Region of Ghana, became the stage for West Africa's rising football stars as six competitive teams converged for the maiden edition of a two-day scouting tournament.
The event, held on Wednesday, November 27, and Thursday, November 28, brought together Bis Paradise Sporting Club, Fijai United Soccer Academy, West Ridge United, Sedan Academy, Team Move FC, and Future Stars in a thrilling showcase of talent and skill.
Organized as part of efforts to unearth and promote West Africa's budding football talents, the tournament attracted Matjaz Voglar, a distinguished European football scout from Slovenia, and Abaidoo Abednego, Lead FIFA Football Agent from Gfarok Sporting Agency.
The two experts were on a mission to assess the raw talents and identify players with the potential to excel in the competitive European football market.
