The independent candidate contesting in the Efutu parliamentary elections, Louisa Buabeng has been remanded by the Winneba High court presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Marriam Agyeman Gyasi Jawhary.

The candidate who was initially arrested on 20th November at the same court premises following hearing of an elections- related matter she had laid before the court, was re-arrested on November 27 and presented before the court on November 28.

According to information gathered by 3news, police stormed the house of the candidate to arrest her after some voter identification cards were found in the house of one of her campaign coordinators identified as Dauda.

While police charged the candidate's aide with unlawful possession of documents.
