Asante Kotoko are set to return to their home ground, Baba Yara Stadium, for the rest of the Ghana Premier League season following a directive by the National Sports Authority (NSA).

Kotoko moved from their traditional home ground in September after the NSA closed down the ground for maintenance work following Ghana's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.

Due to the uneven nature of the pitch, coupled with the facility failing to meet CAF's category 3 standard, the NSA decided to shut down the ground in a bid to prepare it for Ghana's October international games.

However, the Black Stars settled in Accra to see out the rest of their 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
