The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV has applauded NDC flagbearer John Mahama for his proposed 24-hour economy policy, and zeal to revive the country's economy and youth policy. He identified the former President's 24-hour economy policy as a panacea to help recover Ghana's ailing economy, create jobs, and increase the country's foreign exchange through exports when implemented in the manufacturing sector. Togbe Afede was speaking when Mr Mahama led a delegation to pay a courtesy call to him in Ho on the first day of the NDC's campaign tour of the Volta Region. "Let me congratulate you, first of all on your 24-hour economy policy. As someone who believes in hard work, I believe this is what we need. It is obvious that the application of this policy in the manufacturing sector can indeed be a game changer", he said.
