The Member of Parliament(MP) for Tolon constituency who doubles as the First Deputy Majority Chief in Parliament, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu has indicated that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has no stronghold in the Tolon constituency.
According to him, the massive developmental projects implemented in the Tolon constituency have increased the fortunes of the NPP making it the favourite in the constituency. " The NDC does not understand the Tolon constituency very well, even Nyankpala which the NDC claim is their stronghold I can confidently tell you that is never true." He stated on Tamale-based Diamond FM He disclosed that the NDC will get the shock of their lives come December 7 because he is winning with a great margin due to the developmental projects he has implemented such as mechanized boreholes, schools, toilets, educational funds, roads, health centers, electricity extension and many other projects in the Tolon constituency.
