Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has responded to criticisms levelled against him for endorsing Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.
The endorsement, which stirred debate within political circles, has drawn reactions from various quarters, including former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, now the Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change.
Speaking at a mini-rally in Abuakwa South on Wednesday, 27th November, the former President addressed his critics, defending his decision to back Dr Bawumia.
