The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Education, Kwasi Kwarteng, stormed out of a live interview on 3FM's morning show on Monday, November 25, 2024.

An exchange with host Johnnie Hughes arose during discussions on the controversial issue of expired rice that was repackaged for distribution.

Kwarteng, while addressing the concerns, explained that the rice in question had undergone testing as mandated by Ghana's Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

He stated that the company behind the rice, Moshosho, had sent it back to India for further testing under the oversight of the Indian equivalent of the FDA.
