The recent outbreak of the Dengue fever has so far hit six regions in the country, with over one hundred 100 cases recorded. Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, told 3news that all cases are mild and are being managed at home while the Service remains on high alert. Dr Franklin Asiedu Bekoe Ghana started recording Dengue fever cases about 6 weeks ago. The viral infection, which is transmitted by the Aedes mosquitoes, is gradually spreading sporadically across the country.
