Asanteman over the weekend commemorated the centenary anniversary of the return of the Asantehene, King Prempeh I, from exile in the Seychelles.
A durbar held to mark the event at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Saturday, November 23, 2024, showcased the rich culture of some of the great tribes in Africa, namely the Asante culture and that of the people of Eswatini, as well as that of the people of Seychelles.
The event was graced by the Asantehene, , the President of Seychelles, the Prime Minister of Eswatini, as well as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and former President John Agyekum Kufuor, among other dignitaries.
