The Ghana Mine Workers Union (GMWU) has called on trade unions and the working class to vote for a presidential candidate who respects and defend workers right.
The Union indicated that workers should ensure that the candidate they will vote for can create an environment for businesses to thrive.
In a statement read by the General Secretary of the GMWU, Abdul Moomin Gbana, he said this year's elections should be peaceful.
He spoke at the Union's National Executive Council Meeting held on November 26. "To all trade unions, their members, and the working people of this country, our future depends on the peaceful election.
