Persons who got affected by the Gomoa Buduburam rock explosion which was carried out in October last month are getting impatient and threatening to demonstrate against authorities for the delay in disbursement of compensation.
They may also restrain workers of the construction firm that caused the damages from any further works if their demands are not met as quickly as possible.
Nag Fairmount Company Limited, the firm carrying out the Kasoa-Winneba road expansion and redesign carried out a rock blast activity in the heart of Gomoa Buduburam on 14th October, 2024 leading to death of three persons and some four scores of casualties.
A number of both residential and commercial properties were also destroyed and negatively impacted both economic and social life.
