Renowned Nigerian actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, affectionately known as RMD, has thrown his support behind John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), ahead of Ghana's 2024 presidential election.
In a recent interview with JoyNews, RMD praised Mahama's accomplishments during his previous tenure as president, particularly his contributions to infrastructure development.
The actor expressed admiration for Mahama's legacy, highlighting the construction of key projects like the airport. "Every time I pass through the airport, I'm reminded that he was the one who built it," RMD remarked.
Although he has never met Mahama in person, RMD revealed that many of his Ghanaian friends have spoken highly of the former president's achievements.
