Hon John Abdulai Jinapor, Member of Parliament(MP) for Yapei-Kusawgu, recently appeared on Oyerepa TV to address the ongoing economic difficulties and power crises affecting the Akufo-Addo administration.
The NDC politician did not mince words as he pointed out the heavy burden Ghana is carrying, both financially and in terms of its electricity supply.
Speaking candidly, Jinapor explained that the current "dumsor" crisis, referring to frequent power outages, was directly linked to the massive debts Ghana owes to its power-generating partners.
These debts are owed to companies that supply electricity to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), which then distributes it to households across the country.
