Speaking on PM Extra on Joy News on 25 November 2024, Owusu-Agyemang criticised the NDC's approach, suggesting it reflects a mindset that any outcome other than their victory would imply electoral malpractice. "I don't like the opposition's posture, and they keep saying that if they don't win, then something has happened.

Believe me, if you bring Jesus Christ from heaven to come and become the Electoral Commissioner, they will still complain," he remarked.

He also emphasised that Parliament belongs to the people of Ghana, not just its Speaker, and urged parliamentarians to act in the country's best interests. "They owe it to us at Parliament.
