The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has called for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be held accountable and surcharged for the financial losses the nation has incurred through the National Cathedral project.

Speaking at a news conference in Kumasi on November 26, Mr Ablakwa made the statement a day after the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) released its findings following his petition.

He reiterated his demand for the immediate dissolution of the National Cathedral Secretariat to ensure transparency in the matter.

Ablakwa accused the President of orchestrating what he described as a "create, loot, and share" scheme. "The plight of the Eminent priests is regrettable, unfortunate, and very sad for them.
