The flagbearer of the All People's Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has alleged that the presidential candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Mahama and Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia, have adopted key policies originally outlined in his party's manifesto.

Speaking during an interview on Okay FM, Ayariga claimed that John Mahama's much-touted "24-hour economy" policy was first presented in the APC's 2016-2020 manifesto. "If you look at the APC 2016-2020 manifesto, page 30, item 31, you'll see the 24-hour economy policy there.
