Former President , the flagbearer of the (NDC), says the time has come for Ghanaians to unite and 'reset' Ghana from its current economic challenges and bring relief to the citizenry.
He attributed the economic situation to the mismanagement of the economy by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration and said the problem needed a fresh start with a new vision to restore hope to the people.
He said this when he met the clergy at Effia in the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipality as part of his three-day campaign tour of the Western Region.
Former President Mahama said: "Ghana is at a crossroads, and on December 7, we have the opportunity to elect a leader who will take the country forward or backwards, and if you look at how things have gone this past eight years, we need to bring the NDC back to reset the country to its previous state." According to him, despite some challenges during his time as President, his administration performed better in all sectors of the economy than the NPP government.
