The Director of Communications at the International Monetary Fund (IMF)  Julie Kozack has cautioned the government of Ghana against decisions that may cause slippages in the future.

The caution follows the good performance of Ghana under the programme with the has been good. "What I can say in addition is that the programme performance has been good.

There has been in particular remarkable progress on debt restructuring," she said at a press conference in Washington on Friday, November 22.

She pointed out that some macroeconomic projections have been achieved under the programme, indicating some level of recovery. "Economic growth in the first half of 2024 exceeded our expectations, exceeded our projections.
