Gospel musician and music producer Nana Kwaku Osei, better known as Nacee, has highlighted a few factors impacting financial success of gospel artistes.
In an interview with GhanaWeb on the sidelines of the 2024 edition of the Praise Achievement Awards ceremony, he stated event organizers do not compensate gospel musicians enough for their performances.
According to him, this act contributes to the regression of the gospel music industry. "We lack financial support because most gospel musicians, mostly they go to programmes, and then the event organisers are not paying them as much as they deserve.
So we fight more than we are supposed to do," he said.
