Vice President of ECOWAS Tourism Private Sector Confederation and Tourism Ambassador Miami, Ambassador Nancy Q Sam, has led the Ghanaian delegation to showcase Ghana's tourism, culture, and fashion on the African Runway at the 9th Annual Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FiTCE) 2024 to promote Ghana's tourism and culture.
The event, renowned for fostering global business, trade, tourism, and cultural partnerships, saw an impressive showcase of Ghana's rich heritage and opportunities for international collaboration.
The Expo, which attracted over 1,500 participants from over 60 countries, was held at the Broward County Convention Centre in Fort Lauderdale and presented opportunities for networking with global investors.
Ambassador Sam, who made a striking entrance adorned in traditional wear, showcasing our Two Royals, king and queen, in a colourful traditional kente cloth, which symbolised Ghana's history and artistry, in an interview ahead of the event, expressed her pride in representing Ghana and stressed the importance of cultural diplomacy in enhancing tourism and trade relations. "Today, we celebrate not just our fashion and tourism but the very essence of our identity as Ghanaians through culture," she stated. "This runway serves as a bridge, connecting our heritage with the global community.
