Ibrahim Adjei, the Assistant Secretary at the Office of the President, has called on Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the owner of Wontumi Radio and TV, to take action and reprimand his staff for spreading disinformation to the public regarding the elections.

In an interview on Channel One TV on Monday, November 25, 2024, Adjei condemned Oheneba Nana Asiedu's actions as criminal and scandalous, accusing him of deliberately using his platform to disinform the public.

According to him, Chairman Wontumi must take decisive action and address the issue with his presenter, as such behavior could tarnish the station's reputation and damage its brand. "Radio presenters like Oheneba Nana Asiedu need to be reprimanded.

This is an opportunity for the radio station itself and I'm talking to Chairman Wontumi, that at the end of the day, it's your name and brand that's been carried.
