In a candid interview on Kumasi-based Fakye TV, dancehall artist Shatta Wale shared his perspective on relationships, challenging the idea that women are primarily interested in money.

Shatta Wale explained that what women truly desire goes beyond financial support-they seek attention, affection, and care.

He recounted a memorable experience with a former girlfriend who once asked for a redfish from China.

For him, this request was not about the price tag but a reflection of the deeper emotional and personal needs women value. "I've realized that women don't really want money-they deserve the best treatment in life," he shared. "When I get a woman, I make sure I give her the best care I can." He added that while women want more from their relationships, this can sometimes be overwhelming.
