Ghanaian musician Jackline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie has opened up about the challenges she experienced during the early stages of her career.
In an interview with BBC Africa, Gyakie mentioned that the following one of her most hit songs 'Forever', she faced intense pressure from fans to consistently deliver hit songs.
Gyakie noted that such pressures often left her in tears. "If I am pressured or shouted at, I am going to grab a tissue and cry.
So, I don't like to be pressured or shouted at. "In the beginning of my career, almost every three days, I would be crying at home because the pressure was getting too much especially when 'Forever' blew up," Gyakie stated.
