Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, the Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area, has been elected as the Vice President of the National House of Chiefs.
In an election held on Friday, 22nd November 2024, in Kumasi, Buipewura Jinapor secured a significant victory, receiving 52 votes and defeating three other contenders for the position.
Buipewura Jinapor In the same election, Nana Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II was re-elected for a second term as President of the National House of Chiefs.
He garnered 42 votes, surpassing the Chief of Dormaa, Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, who received 30 votes.
