The Ghana Police Service is ramping up efforts to locate individuals wanted for threatening violence ahead of the December 7 General Elections.

The suspects, including Fuseini Yahuza, Bernard Ahedor, Simon, Basit, and Musa Yakubu, also known as Agya Musah, were declared wanted on November 15, 2024, and have since evaded capture.

In a statement released on November 23, the police announced, "A reward of Twenty Thousand Cedis (GH₵20,000.00) is being offered for any person who provides credible information leading to the arrest of the suspects." The police also made an appeal for public cooperation, stating, "We urge the public to support the ongoing operation in search of the suspects by providing information that could lead to their arrest." To facilitate this, they shared a dedicated hotline, 0547927272, for anyone with relevant information.

This case gained widespread attention after a video circulated on social media showing the suspects, clad in paraphernalia of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), threatening to cause unrest if the election results do not favor their party.
