The Ghana Police Service announced the arrest of Oheneba Nana Asiedu, a presenter of Kumasi-based media house, Wontumi Radio/TV, on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The police accuse Nana Asiedu, an aide to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the (NPP) and owner of the media house, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), of publication of false news contrary to Section 208 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), among other offences.
