North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has expressed strong disapproval over allegations of expired rice being repackaged and distributed to senior high schools for student feeding.

Speaking on TV3's Key Points, the lawmaker labelled recent comments by the Chief of Staff on the matter as "reckless and irresponsible." "The Chief of Staff's comment is the height of recklessness and irresponsibility," Ablakwa asserted. "You are to coordinate and invite all the institutions, yet you don't look at the facts but jump to this reckless conclusion.

Can't we respect our laws?

Can't we follow standards?" Ablakwa's remarks follow reports suggesting that rice, deemed expired, had been rebranded and distributed under the National Food Buffer Stock Company for use in Ghanaian senior high schools.
