The owner of Rahama Forex Bureau, Samuel Addai, has given his account of the attempted robbery incident at his establishment on Friday, November 22, 2024.
Speaking to the media following the botched robbery attempt, Mr.
Addai said he received a distress call around 11:05 in the morning from his employees, alerting him of the ongoing heist at the facility.
He said he alerted the police, who quickly surrounded the establishment in a bid to arrest the suspects. "According to them, a customer, who is a male suspect, came supposedly to change money, and in the process, the rate he asked for was not accepted, so he stepped out again. "He returned in some ten, twenty minutes and presented half of what he intended to exchange.
