Traders at the Gomoa Dominase market in the Central Region have raised concerns about the lack of infrastructure and the increasing cost of doing business.
The traders are calling for urgent action to address infrastructure deficits, provide market sheds, and improve access roads to ensure the market becomes a thriving hub for economic activity in the region.
Speaking on Channel One TV's Community Forum on Friday, November 22, they called on authorities to address these challenges to improve their livelihoods and the local economy.
Dorothy Ansah, a trader at the market, highlighted the dire need for proper facilities and improved infrastructure in the area. "The government should at least help us with a well-structured place for doing business and also a good place of convenience.
