The Minister of Employment, Labour Relations and Pensions, Ignatius Baffour Awuah, has inaugurated a new office complex for the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC).
The four-storey building has 200-seat auditorium, a board meeting room, and training facilities with other amenities including a kitchen, a boardroom, and parking space for vehicles.
The Minister highlighted the government's dedication to fair wages and decent work for all, stressing that the new facility would enhance the Commission's service delivery. "The government is committed to creating an enabling environment for workers to thrive and improve productivity," he said.
Mr Baffour Awuah explained that the building was part of President Akufo-Addo's vision to provide the Commission with a proper office space to better serve the public.
