In the lead-up to the December 7, 2024 elections, Flagbearer of the opposition, New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured the people of Ghana to build the country based on systems and data.
He has indicated that when made president, he intends to build a modern, transparent, and inclusive Ghana.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia made this disclosure to Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Accra when he met them on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
He reminded them of government's effort in helping address generational problems such as " lack of a unique national identity for citizens, lack of national address system and huge financial exclusion of citizens, with the implementation of the Ghanacard, property address system and mobile money interoperability".
