One of the traders, identified as Esther Baafour Guyimah, who was removed from selling at the Flower Pot Interchange by a task force under the instructions of Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has expressed deep frustration over the recent development.

In an interview with Channel One TV, she revealed that before the Flower Pot project was completed, traders had been promised by the Accra Municipal Assembly that spaces under the bridges would be allocated for them to sell their goods.

According to her, after being relocated from the main pavements, the Accra Municipal Assembly assured them that designated areas would be provided for them to continue their businesses.

However, she lamented that upon the completion of the interchange, the promised spaces were instead transformed into a mini garden, with various types of flowers planted. "They have destroyed all our tables and containers that we used for selling.
