The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George, has accused President Nana Akufo-Addo and the judiciary, led by Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, of deliberately delaying the passage of the Family Values Bill.
Speaking during an interview with Beatrice Adu on November 20, he alleged that these actions were part of a calculated effort to prevent the bill from becoming law.
Sam George expressed frustration with what he described as a lack of commitment from the President and the judiciary to uphold Ghanaian cultural values.
He alleged that President Akufo-Addo's actions demonstrate a pro-LGBTQ stance, despite public statements to the contrary. "When Kamala Harris came to Ghana and confronted him about the bill, he disowned it, claiming he knew nothing about it.
