The Mayor of Accra, Elizabeth Kwatsoe Sackey, has cautioned that voting against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) could jeopardize progress on critical infrastructure projects under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP).

DRIP is aimed at equipping Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies with modern tools to enhance road networks and improve accessibility nationwide.

Speaking during a visit to project sites within the Accra Metropolitan Area, the Mayor emphasised the importance of continuity in governance to sustain and expand the initiative.

She urged citizens to consider the progress made so far and support the NPP to maintain momentum in developing Ghana's infrastructure. "DRIP is a good initiative, every district has it and therefore every district is working at the same time to ensure there is a free flow of vehicles.
