"We understand the disappointment and frustration this failure has caused, and we share in the pain and sadness of our beloved fans," the statement read. "For that, we are truly sorry." Despite the setback, the GFA expressed appreciation for the unwavering support of fans throughout the qualifying campaign.
The association reiterated its commitment to restoring Ghana's footballing pride and promised steps to ensure improvement.
