Former Ashanti Region Security Coordinator, Enoch Nsiah, has expressed his support for Sammy Gyamfi's allegations that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is using Brigadier General Michael Opoku's appointment in the Ashanti Region as part of a wider strategy to manipulate the upcoming elections.
Speaking on Oyerepa TV's Election Field, Nsiah did not mince his words.
He stressed that Opoku's history of inciting violence makes his move to the region highly suspicious, especially considering that Ashanti is a key stronghold for the NPP. "The NPP is not as popular as it used to be," Nsiah said, "and they are aware of their declining support.
That's why they've brought in people like Brigadier General Michael Opoku, whose involvement in violence in past elections is well known.
