Two Persons with disability (PWDs) in Asokwa have called on Dela Edem, a known National Democratic (NDC) member, to hurriedly render a better apology to John Agyekum Kufuor for the unsavoury comments on his person.

The PWDs called on the NDC man to show proper remorse by appearing on television and radio stations to apologise for spewing distasteful and insensitive words.

Addressing the media Tuesday morning, Clifford Owusu Ansah, financial secretary for PWDs in Asokwa, said he was surprised a grown-up man could utter such senseless words. "Not only were the words senseless and needless, but it showed how some people see some of us who through no fault of ours are incapacitated or are suffering from the consequences of road accidents".

Appeal: On her part, Hannah Owusu Dwomoh, a resident and athlete in Asokwa, said she was taken aback by the uncivilised comments of NDC's Dela Edem.
