The Minister of Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has underscored the significance of the newly commissioned Spintex-Flower Pot Interchange in the Greater Accra Region.

He emphasized the interchange's critical role in easing traffic congestion, fostering socio-economic development, and boosting economic activities in the region.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on November 19, Asenso-Boakye stated: "The Flower Pot Interchange will enable seamless connectivity to key towns and areas, such as Osu, La, Cantonments, Chaado, East Legon, Adenta and Madina, thereby stimulating economic activities and providing safer routes for commuters." He urged commuters and residents in the vicinity to manage the interchange with care.

The interchange is expected to help facilitate movement from areas including Cantonments and Burma Camp to East Legon, Spintex, and Tema, enhancing the overall quality of life for residents in these areas.
