Four Ghanaian soldiers serving on a UN peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon were injured on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, when a rocket fired by a "non-state actor" struck their base.

The rocket was one of several fired by Hezbollah, which targeted UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) posts in the area.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Hezbollah launched two separate rocket attacks on Tuesday, damaging UNIFIL facilities.

In total, at least 70 rockets and drones were fired at central and northern Israel, injuring five people and causing damage to buildings and infrastructure.
