Ghanaian artiste, Olivetheboy has responded to the public concerns surrounding his recent performance at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Manifesto launch. After viral videos of the artiste performing at the NDC Youth manifesto launch on Monday, August 12 surfaced, speculations have since been rife that he is associated with the party. In an interview on Okay FM after his performance, the singer clarified that his appearance was strictly professional and not an endorsement of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Olivetheboy explained that, he received an invitation to perform from Sharaf Mahama, son of former President John Mahama, and viewed the opportunity as a business engagement. "I was hired to perform, just like I am billed at Afrochella or any other event. My performance is not tied to any political endorsement," he stated.
