The former president explained that this initiative is aimed at identifying and addressing minor health issues early, preventing them from developing into serious conditions, according to a report by citinewsroom.com.
He also reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes across the country. "We will deploy community health volunteers in every community, who will go from house to house, engaging residents about their health and identifying issues such as breast cancer and cervical cancers.
This will enable quick referrals to the nearest health facility," he noted.
