Pollster Mussa Dankwa, in a latest post on social media, indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) may not get its target of 85% in the Ashanti Region He indicates that the candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress is nearing the 30% mark in the region.
His post shared without details on Facebook read "The last regional poll conducted in the Ashanti region shows the ruling New Patriotic Party is highly unlikely to achieve its 85% target in their stronghold as the opposition candidate and the leader of the National Democratic Congress nears the 30% mark".
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is targeting 85% of votes in the Ashanti Region of Ghana in the 2024 elections.
The political party has stepped up its campaign effort in the region to ensure that their target is achieved in the region which has always given them the numbers.
