Correspondence from Eric Obeng Boateng, Eastern Region Former President has called on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to investigate and prosecute him if they have evidence of financial mismanagement during his tenure.
Speaking during a campaign tour in the New Juaben Constituency in Koforidua, Mahama refuted longstanding allegations by the NPP and urged them to substantiate their claims with concrete proof. "I challenge the NPP government; if there is any evidence that I have misused Ghanaian money, they should investigate and prosecute me.
But if they don't have any concrete evidence, they should stop making false accusations.
The NDC government will hold accountable every individual in the NPP government who has mismanaged Ghana's resources," Mahama declared.
