Former deputy General Secretary of the (NDC), Samuel , has raised concerns about former President John Dramani Mahama's promise to provide free education fees for all level 100 entrants students in tertiary institutions. Anyidoho took to social media to question the practicality of this pledge, which was featured in the recent NDC Youth Manifesto launch. In a series of posts on X, Anyidoho urged stakeholders in the education sector, including the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), the Teachers and Educational Workers' Union (TEWU), and the Committee of Vice-Chancellors (VCs), to question the feasibility of Mahama's proposal. He expressed skepticism about how such an initiative would be structured and funded, given the existing challenges faced by the Free Senior High School (SHS) programme.
