Nana Akomea, Vice Chairman of the Bawumia Campaign Team, has criticised former President John Mahama for dismissing opinion polls unfavourable to him as "cooked." Mahama recently mocked the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he referred to as "fake opinion polls" intended to mislead Ghanaians.

According to him, the government is unnerved by credible surveys predicting an NDC victory and has resorted to fabricating figures to boost its own image.

While addressing supporters during his campaign tour in the North East Region, the former President argued that polls favouring the NPP lack credibility and cannot be attributed to reputable organisations, unlike those projecting an NDC win.
