An operative of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) James Agbey has told the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr George Akuffo Dampare not to go after some youth group of the NDC in the Ashanti Region wh have called for fairness in the Electoral Commission ahead of the elections.

James Agbey says he has become aware that the Police want to go after these youths. "These youth groups only called for fairness in the discharge of the electoral management body's duties ahead of the December 7 general election.

To them the Electoral Commission (EC) has to live above board. "And now the police is attempting to crack down on these youth groups for adding their voice to the call for free and fair elections. "When the police force under this current regime brazenly attempts to insert itself in politics by recklessly sending men after NDC youth groups, it ought to be a subject of public concern," he said in a release on Tuesday November 19.

For Immediate Release Tuesday, November 19 James Agbey warns IGP to stay away from his Kumasi boys I have become aware of attempts by the police administration to go after some NDC youth groups in Kumasi.
